⬛️ [We Became a Praying Community]

✝️ “My house will be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13)

——

⬜️We opened our Friday night worship.

We stood together

some playing,

some praying,

some quietly listening

but all of us

moving in one direction:

toward God.

——

🟨 A worship night reveals something deeper than sound.

It reveals

what a community depends on.

if we depend on the Spirit,

we pray.

——

🟧 So the question is

“Will we become a praying church?”

Because a worship night can be repeated.

But a praying community must be formed.

Prayer is not a moment in the service.

It is the direction of the church.

And that direction must be chosen

again and again.

🟥 Still today, the Lord says:

“This is not about a gathering.

This is about becoming My house of prayer.”

🙌🔥

“Father God,

do not let this remain as an event.

Build in us

a true dependence on You.

Teach us to pray

not out of habit,

but out of hunger.

Let this community

be marked not by sound,

but by surrender.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.”
