⬛️ [ Facing Spiritual Shame ]
——
✝️ "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32, NIV)
——
⬜️ Salvation does not end with the forgiveness of sins. We experience the fullness of our salvation as the truth continues to set us free.
——
🟨 The cross of Jesus Christ is completely sufficient. Nothing needs to be added to the gospel to complete our salvation. Yet even after we are saved, shame, condemnation, fear, and painful memories still try to shape how we see ourselves. Spiritual shame becomes a trigger, whispering, "You are still not enough."
——
🟧 Spiritual growth does not come because shame disappears. It comes when we refuse to hide from it and instead bring it to the cross every time it rises. The truth sets us free again and again. This is not adding something to the gospel; it is allowing the power of the gospel to reach deeper into every part of our lives. As we repeatedly face shame with the truth of Christ, we experience the richness and freedom of the salvation we have already received.
——
🟥 Still today the Lord says, "My child, you are no longer defined by your shame. I have declared you righteous and welcomed you as My beloved. Whenever shame speaks, look to the cross. My truth will set you free once again."
——
" I am not defined by shame but by the finished work of Jesus Christ. Every time shame rises, I will bring it to the cross. As I walk in the truth, I will experience the fullness, freedom, and joy of the salvation I have already received. 🙌🔥 "
