⬛️ [ The God Who Makes Us Holy ]

✝️ “ Keep my decrees and follow them. I am the Lord, who makes you holy.”
(Leviticus 20:8)

⬜️ God commanded us, “Be holy,” knowing that we could never make ourselves completely clean or holy by our own strength.

——

🟨 No matter how hard we try, we cannot fully cleanse ourselves. Sin runs too deep, and our strength is too weak. When we stand before the command, “Be holy,” we eventually come face to face with our own inability.
——

🟧 But behind God’s command was a deeper covenant promise:
“I am the Lord who makes you holy.”
.

God did not only demand holiness from us. He promised to make us holy Himself.

That promise in the Old Testament was fulfilled through the cross of Jesus Christ,
and it continues to be worked out in us through the Holy Spirit.
And in the end, Christ will present His Church to Himself as a holy and blameless bride.

🟥 Today, the Lord still says,
“Be holy, because I am holy. But do not depend on your own strength. I will cleanse you. I will transform you. And I will faithfully lead you until My work of holiness in you is complete.”

✝️ “The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:24)

🙌🔥 I will not depend on my own strength to become holy. I will trust the faithful God who called me, cleanses me, transforms me, and will faithfully complete His work in me.
