✅ PBS & GBS — JONAH Begins!

After studying Ruth, we now begin the book of Jonah.

Through Ruth, we saw that even in the darkness of the time of the Judges, God was faithfully working through a redeemer. We also saw how Ruth, a Gentile woman, became part of the family line that would ultimately lead to our eternal Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Ruth also showed us a beautiful movement from emptiness to fullness under God’s gracious providence.

Now in Jonah, we will learn to notice something different:

repetition, irony, unexpected reversals, and the surprising heart of God.

There is so much to discover. Let’s study it together!
